Ok， to start with， I don't typically read Christian books。 I am not really into the whole religion thing， but I love this series。 I have always liked reading Post apocalyptic books， and I live in Wyoming， so that is why this series caught my attention。 I started with the first book， then skipped several and then read all of the last ones as they came out。 Only to go back later and read those that I missed。 It is a gripping story。 The series is set in fictional towns， but the area it is in， is so Ok， to start with， I don't typically read Christian books。 I am not really into the whole religion thing， but I love this series。 I have always liked reading Post apocalyptic books， and I live in Wyoming， so that is why this series caught my attention。 I started with the first book， then skipped several and then read all of the last ones as they came out。 Only to go back later and read those that I missed。 It is a gripping story。 The series is set in fictional towns， but the area it is in， is so true to that part of the state it makes it very believable。 Millie Copper makes sure that everything in the books - as far as homesteading， weapons， etc。 is correct， where as a lot of authors don't seem to put that extra effort into it。 It makes the story so much more engrossing - for me - when the things in the book are accurate and not very generic or made up。I liked this series so much more than I thought I would and would highly encourage anyone that likes post apocalyptic books to read this series。 。。。more
